About The Author

I am Tammy Taylor Phelps. I am just a regular person whose family health challenges caused me to look for better answers to hard questions. In the process of investigating certain conditions to help my own family, such as Parkinsons, Breast Cancer & cancer in general, Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS), Arthritis, Fibromyalgia, etc. and etc., I learned some pretty valuable information. I hope the same things I am learning and using to help my family may help yours.

This has become my passion. I hope you enjoy this blog, and use the references provided to help you make better choices for your own health. One thing that really keeps me working so hard to help educate friends and family about these issues, is that most of us are trying to make good choices, but are being misled by advertising that looks like science.

Many people are also so struck by fear when they get a serious diagnosis, that they place their lives in the hands of doctors and pharmaceutical companies and feel powerless as a result.

Personal Stuff. Today, when this blog was initially set up in May of 2012, I was a 45 year old single, self-employed, homeschooling mother of a ten year old girl, named Rachel. We live in Eastern North Carolina, very much in the country. My professional training is in graphics and web-site design, thus the hint in the title of this blog. I am currently a Shaklee independent distributor as well, and absolutely love Shaklee and their products, which I am sure will be mentioned from time to time. I feel better today than I did 15 years ago. Praise the Lord!

This is Erin, I met you last night at the Shaklee mtg at the tea room. I couldn’t find you on FB, but I did find this web page. Thank you for all the information! I enjoyed the mtg and meeting you! I ordered the book “Knock Out’, but I didn’t remember the other book you were talking about. Would you please let me know the name of it? Blessings to you!
